MEAL Manager – Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning

About the role

The MEAL Manager leads SEED’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning functions, ensuring robust, integrated systems that generate high‑quality data, measure performance and impact, and drive evidence‑based decision‑making. Reporting to the President, the role works closely with senior management, program teams and technical staff to embed accountability and learning across all programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously strengthen SEED’s MEAL systems and data management platforms, including CommCare.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency and accessibility across all programmes and integrate data with service delivery trackers.
• Oversee programme data collection, performance monitoring, outcome evaluation and impact assessment.
• Translate evidence into strategic insights, donor reports, storytelling and external communications.
• Build staff capacity on MEAL processes and align data, safeguarding and accountability frameworks with programme strategy.
• Manage the MEAL team, coordinate with the President and the Programs Department, and represent SEED in external engagements.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work closely with senior management, programme teams and technical staff.
• Experience leading MEAL functions within a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to data‑driven learning.
