Marketing Officer

About the role

The Bank of Jordan is seeking a Marketing Officer to drive brand awareness and promote its products and services across Iraq. The role will support advertising, promotional campaigns, digital activities, media relations and CSR initiatives in line with the Bank’s strategy and corporate identity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor marketing, advertising and promotional plans and campaigns for the Iraqi market.
• Coordinate with advertising agencies, media outlets and external vendors.
• Organise and monitor marketing events, activities and promotional initiatives.
• Conduct market, customer, competitor and product research and provide insights.
• Monitor corporate identity across branches, marketing materials and digital channels.
• Coordinate social media and digital content with relevant teams.
• Support sponsorships, community initiatives and CSR activities.
• Prepare regular reports on marketing campaigns, events and activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the banking sector.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Good computer skills and ability to work with relevant systems.
• Knowledge of banking products, Iraqi banking environment and Central Bank of Iraq regulations (advantage).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities effectively.
