Marketing & Communications Manager

About the role

1001 is looking for a strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to shape the brand narrative and lead corporate communications across Iraq and the regional media ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine the brand messaging framework, ensuring consistency across all platforms and partner channels.
• Draft, manage and distribute press releases, official announcements, executive statements and other corporate communication materials.
• Own media relations, coordinate press outreach and maintain structured media tracking and reporting systems.
• Translate product updates, partnerships and technology upgrades into clear, strategic communication narratives.
• Manage LinkedIn and corporate thought‑leadership content to strengthen industry positioning.
• Oversee co‑branded communications with ISPs, banks and strategic partners to ensure brand alignment.
• Prepare executive briefing documents, talking points and presentation materials for conferences, interviews and industry events.
• Develop internal communication templates, documentation systems and brand guidelines, and monitor media coverage and public sentiment.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in Marketing Communications, PR, Brand Management or Corporate Communications.
• Native fluency in Arabic and advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of the Iraqi media, tech and entertainment landscape.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple communication streams and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
