Maintenance Supervisor – Instrumentation (Oil & Gas)

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor (Instrumentation) will lead the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities for public address‑general alarm (PA‑GA) and ICSS data transmission networks in an oil & gas facility. The role ensures minimal equipment downtime, safe plant operation and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all PA‑GA and ICSS network maintenance according to policy, spare‑part availability and production requirements.
• Analyse work requests, define scope, allocate resources and supervise contractors.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in PA‑GA systems, structured cabling, fibre‑optic links, patch panels, routers and network switches.
• Review and update maintenance specifications to meet internal, legislative and international standards.
• Evaluate technical offers, ensure tools and equipment are fit for use, and continuously improve maintenance processes.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Electronics, Telecom or Automation.
• Proven experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Hands‑on experience with instrument, telecom and PA‑GA system installation and maintenance.

Required skills

• Public Address‑General Alarm (PA‑GA) systems.
• ICSS data transmission networks.
• Structured cabling and fibre‑optic technologies.
• Network equipment such as patch panels, routers and switches.
• Knowledge of international telecom standards for oil‑industry applications.
