Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the daily maintenance operations of our facilities and equipment in Baghdad Governorate. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with strategic planning to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign and supervise maintenance and repair tasks for machinery, infrastructure and building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes and schedules.
• Monitor work quality, safety compliance and operational standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors, manage inventories and maintenance records.
• Support budgeting, cost‑control and reporting for maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance, training and performance monitoring for the maintenance team.
• Identify process improvements to reduce downtime and extend asset life.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Technical background in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering (diploma or degree preferred).
• Proven experience in facility or industrial maintenance management, preferably in a similar operational environment.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations, risk management and workplace health‑safety best practices.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
