Maintenance Advisor

About the role

The Maintenance Advisor will lead safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance execution at the site, acting as the main interface between ROO, BOC maintenance teams and site operations. You will guide priorities, coach staff and ensure effective work management.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of open safety reporting, continuous improvement and accountability.
• Accountable for safe execution of all maintenance activities, zero tolerance for overdue work and strict risk management.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance, conduct daily planning meetings and manage work‑management processes.
• Oversee contractor tasks, scaffolding requests and maintain accurate O&M records.
• Coach and develop direct reports to support nationalisation goals.
• Recommend optimisation opportunities, manage 12‑week schedule and ensure timely change management.

Required profile

• Over 15 years of oil & gas experience, preferably with IOCs.
• Technical degree or HNC in engineering.
• Previous Maintenance Lead or Superintendent role.
• Proven leadership of multi‑discipline, multicultural teams.
• Strong hazard identification and priority‑setting skills.

Required skills

• Maintenance planning and scheduling.
• CMMS expertise, specifically Maximo.
• Work Management processes and deferral handling.
