Junior Copywriter – Arabic

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Copywriter who can produce clear, compelling Arabic copy for social media, advertising, websites, and email campaigns. You will work closely with design and video teams to ensure the brand voice remains consistent across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit captions, ad copies, landing pages, emails, blog posts, product/feature blurbs, and short video scripts (15‑60 seconds).
• Localize and adapt copy between Arabic and English while preserving tone and intent.
• Contribute copy to weekly/monthly content calendars and meet campaign deadlines.
• Collaborate with designers, media buyers, and social managers to turn briefs into publish‑ready assets.
• Proofread for grammar, clarity, and brand consistency using style guides and checklists.
• Research facts, monitor competitors, suggest A/B test angles, and provide performance‑focused variations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism (Arabic) or a related field.
• 0.5‑2 years of hands‑on writing experience (internships or co‑ops count).
• Strong Arabic writing skills (MSA; dialect awareness is a plus) and a portfolio of 5‑8 relevant samples.
• Comfort with Google Docs, Google Sheets, basic research tools and grammar checkers.
• Understanding of platform basics such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Ads.
• Good time‑management, attention to detail and openness to feedback.
