IT Site Engineer – Network & CCTV Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Site Engineer to lead the installation, configuration and maintenance of network and CCTV systems across Basrah and remote oil‑field locations. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent English communication and the ability to manage on‑site teams in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the deployment and upkeep of CCTV systems, network infrastructure, firewalls and security protocols.
• Lead on‑site teams, coordinate schedules and ensure work meets quality standards.
• Monitor IT systems, diagnose issues and oversee timely resolution of networking, security or CCTV problems.
• Set up IT infrastructure at remote sites, including oil fields, and be prepared for travel and extended stays.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes and project status reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety procedures in hazardous environments.
• Communicate project updates and technical support to internal and external stakeholders in fluent English.
• Interpret project scopes, prepare Bills of Quantities and source pricing from local and international suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience supervising CCTV, network and security installations.
• Willingness to work in remote, industrial locations such as oil fields.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus.
