HVAC Supervisor

About the role

The HVAC Supervisor ensures optimal climate control and air quality across the hotel, leading a dedicated team of technicians. This position combines hands‑on technical work with leadership, training, and coordination with other hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HVAC team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance and providing technical guidance.
• Conduct training on maintenance procedures, safety practices and new technologies.
• Prepare work schedules and guarantee sufficient manpower for continuous operation.
• Oversee inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of chillers, air handling units, boilers, cooling towers and fan‑coil units.
• Ensure systems run efficiently while maintaining indoor air quality and temperature standards.
• Supervise installation, upgrades and replacement projects, reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
• Estimate materials, labour and time for projects and ensure timely completion.
• Report hazards, accidents or incidents to management immediately.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Leadership, team‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to read HVAC schematics, technical manuals and drawings.
• Attention to detail and effective time‑management skills.
