Front Desk Agent

About the role

We are looking for a professional and friendly Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, clients, and employees at our hotel in Baghdad. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver exceptional service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors with warmth and professionalism, directing them to the appropriate departments.
• Answer, screen, and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications.
• Schedule appointments, maintain executive calendars, and coordinate meeting rooms.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document preparation, and record management.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate information flow and smooth office operations.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects professional standards.
• Monitor visitor access and ensure security protocols are followed.
• Assist with basic office maintenance, supply inventory, and restocking.
• Support other administrative staff and resolve basic inquiries with empathy.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong multitasking, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
• Professional appearance and strong phone etiquette.
• Basic problem‑solving skills and resilience in handling challenging situations.
• Adaptability, willingness to learn new technologies, and knowledge of office management systems.
• Previous experience as a front‑desk agent, receptionist, or in a customer‑facing role is preferred.
