Finance Manager

About the role

Quwat Al Itqan, a growing organization based in Baghdad, is looking for a full-time, on-site Finance Manager. The role oversees the company's financial activities and ensures accurate, timely reporting, working closely with leadership and departmental teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes and prepare financial statements and management reports
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, and supervise accounting operations
• Review reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations and relevant standards
• Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decisions
• Oversee audits, optimize financial controls and recommend improvements to financial systems and workflows

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are an advantage
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting management, preferably in a similar industry or regional context
• Ability to work on-site in Baghdad and uphold high standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism

Required skills

• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and interpretation of financial data
• Experience in financial reporting and accounting, including financial statements
• Proficiency with finance and accounting software, spreadsheets and ERP systems, and handling large data sets
• Designing, implementing and monitoring internal controls
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills, and leadership abilities
