Executive Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations of our hotel in Baghdad. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all areas of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring efficient workflow and seamless coordination.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering professional development.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive cleaning procedures, quality‑control measures, and performance standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to guarantee cleanliness and presentation.
• Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance, Laundry and other departments for integrated operations.
• Address guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, sanitation and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on staff attendance, inventory, inspections and departmental metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive housekeeping experience with supervisory and managerial responsibilities.
• Proven leadership ability with a focus on team development and service excellence.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
