Copier Technician

About the role

The Copier Technician will support the Operations and Maintenance Support Services contract for the U.S. Department of State at Amentum sites in Iraq. The role involves repairing, maintaining, installing, and upgrading copier equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Install, maintain, and provide technical support for copier equipment across various workspaces.
• Keep detailed service logs, parts ordering, and tracking records for future training and transition.
• Troubleshoot analog, digital, and video circuits, diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Prepare reports, charts, and graphs for management decision‑making regarding IT xerographic equipment.
• Maintain a shared information repository for copier technicians and engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in installation, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electromagnetic systems.
• TEMPEST Certification is mandatory.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational diploma or certified copier technical program preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• English proficiency sufficient to meet safety, health, and security requirements.
