Construction Supervisor – HVAC Mechanical (Onsite)

About the role

The HVAC Mechanical Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning activities at the Majnoon Oil Field. The role ensures safe, reliable and compliant operation of HVAC systems in line with KBR standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC technicians, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Execute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance programs for chillers, package units, split units, ventilation and industrial cooling equipment.
• Perform technical troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical HVAC components.
• Review and support preparation of work permits, job hazard analyses and method statements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Instrumentation and Projects teams to support field activities and shutdown schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as maintenance logs, equipment history and inspection reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Technology.
• Minimum 8 years of HVAC experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial environments.
• Proven experience supervising multi‑disciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of HSSE requirements in hazardous environments.
