Commissioning Process Leader

About the role

The Commissioning Process Leader will drive on‑shore commissioning and field operations for large‑scale industrial projects. This role requires hands‑on leadership, coordination of cross‑functional teams, and close interaction with contractors to ensure safe and efficient start‑up of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commissioning activities on on‑shore field sites.
• Coordinate and manage interfaces between engineering, construction, hook‑up, and start‑up teams.
• Oversee operational testing, brownfield modifications, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with major operator rules, specifications, and HSSE standards.
• Guide a transverse team of 3‑5 members, fostering effective communication and problem solving.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in commissioning or field operations.
• Minimum 3 years in a commissioning leadership position.
• Proven on‑shore field site experience.
• Engineering degree (any discipline).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of OPERCOM methodology.
• Experience with ICAPS systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering, construction, hook‑up/commissioning and start‑up processes.
• Familiarity with major operator rules and specifications.
• Experience with brownfield facility modifications and upgrades.
• Knowledge of process systems commissioning and operational testing.
