Business Development Manager – Telecom Platform

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the sales and partnership strategy for the 1001 Platform in Iraq, targeting B2B customers such as leading Internet Service Providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the Iraqi market to market the Platform to potential B2B customers, especially ISPs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiations, closing, and post‑sale support.
• Build and leverage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in media, telecommunications and IT sectors.
• Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitor activity and customer needs specific to Iraq.
• Coordinate with product and technical teams to tailor solutions for ISP and other B2B customers.
• Represent the company at local industry events, trade shows and seminars.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress and market dynamics.

Required profile

• Proven business development or sales experience with a strong track record, preferably in the ISP space.
• Deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape in Iraq or similar markets and established relationships with key sector players.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to influence senior executives.
• Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Iraq.
