Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

Region Trade Bank is seeking an experienced banking professional to serve as Assistant Branch Manager at its Kirkuk branch. The role involves overseeing daily operations, leading the branch team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations, including teller services, financial transactions, and loan processing, and assume the Branch Manager’s duties in their absence.
• Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and development of the branch staff to foster a professional work culture.
• Handle complex customer complaints, implement satisfaction improvement strategies, and support client retention programs.
• Ensure strict adherence to Central Bank of Iraq directives, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD/EDD standards, and internal risk policies.
• Drive business development by achieving deposit and loan targets, acquiring new customers, and promoting appropriate banking products.
• Monitor financial and cash operations, support budget tracking, and ensure efficient operation of banking systems and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in banking operations and branch management.
• Strong leadership abilities, analytical skills, and a commitment to compliance and ethical practices.
• Advanced Arabic, proficient English, and Kurdish language skills are advantageous.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
