Applications Portfolio Analyst

About the role

The Applications Portfolio Analyst will support the management, maintenance, and performance of a wide range of business applications within a leading energy joint venture. The role ensures applications are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs while providing effective end‑user support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for a portfolio of business applications, handling user requests, access provisioning, and role updates via IT service management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 incidents within defined service levels, delivering user training and support.
• Maintain high availability and performance of applications, monitor incidents, and contribute to problem‑management initiatives.
• Support application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, minor releases, renewals, and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with project and delivery teams during implementation, ensuring smooth transition to steady‑state support.
• Work with cybersecurity and risk teams to define and implement appropriate controls, maintaining auditable documentation.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, track performance metrics, and provide timely updates and escalations.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities for application performance and user experience.

Required profile

• Experience with application support and lifecycle management in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes and tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
