About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team at Spinneys Iraq’s Baghdad Mall location. The role involves managing daily bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures, preparing necessary journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on accounts payable.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using accounting software.
