Welding QC Inspector – CPF2 Site PVV

About the role

We are seeking a Welding QC Inspector for the CPF2 Site PVV within the AGUP Phase 2 project in Basra, Iraq. The role supports the construction and commissioning of a new central processing facility for a major oil and gas development, ensuring welding work meets international standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to company personnel, contractors, and suppliers on welding quality matters.
• Develop and enforce discipline‑specific instructions and procedures on the construction site.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual commitments and quality standards throughout fabrication and construction phases.
• Verify welding documentation, procedures, and certifications against project technical referential and international standards.
• Coordinate with other project interfaces (AGUP Phase 1, GMP, CSSP) to ensure seamless integration of welding activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in welding inspection and quality control within large‑scale oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Familiarity with international welding codes and standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASME).
• Ability to work on an offshore/on‑shore construction site in a high‑performance, safety‑focused environment.
