VEX Robotics Educator (Competition Trainer)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate VEX Robotics Educator to train and mentor K-12 students in Erbil for VEX Robotics competitions. The role focuses on guiding students through robot design, construction, programming, and competition strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on training on VEX IQ and VEX V5 platforms.
• Prepare student teams to design, build, and program competition robots.
• Mentor teams on competition rules, scoring, and strategic problem‑solving.
• Create engaging lesson plans and conduct interactive training sessions.
• Support students in developing teamwork and leadership skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience with VEX Robotics platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Passion for STEM education and student mentorship.

Required skills

• VEXcode programming environment.
• RobotC programming language.
