About the role
The Service Advisor ensures excellent customer service and smooth operations within the service department, advising customers on service options and coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, assess service needs and recommend appropriate service options.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate status updates and additional repair recommendations to customers.
- Prepare service estimates, explain pricing and service recommendations clearly.
- Assist with warranty claims and complete required documentation.
- Address customer concerns and resolve service‑related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, transactions and vehicle service history.
- Support training and mentoring of junior advisors and suggest process improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Auto Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
- Fluent in Kurdish and Arabic; English proficiency preferred.
