Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role combines strategic planning, on‑site supervision, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects end‑to‑end, adhering to plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to develop detailed project plans.
• Supervise on‑site activities, ensuring proper use of labour, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor progress, identify and resolve delays, technical issues, or risks.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Track project costs and support budget adherence.
• Prepare and deliver project reports, updates, and documentation to management and clients.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and provide leadership to site teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a senior project engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• MMUP/UPDA certification.
