Senior Marketing Officer

About the role

ZainCash, Iraq's leading mobile wallet and a Forbes‑top fintech, is looking for a Senior Marketing Officer to shape and execute its marketing strategy. You will drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention across a suite of digital payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that increase user acquisition, engagement, retention and transaction volume.
• Lead end‑to‑end marketing projects, handling planning, budgeting, execution and performance evaluation.
• Analyse customer behaviour, market trends and campaign results to uncover growth opportunities and optimise performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, agencies and vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of proven marketing experience, preferably in fintech, digital payments or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, customer engagement, market research and data‑driven decision making.
• Deep understanding of customer behaviour, campaign planning, performance measurement and commercial marketing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities with a creative, customer‑focused mindset.
