Corporate Copywriter Specialist (Bilingual Arabic/English)

About the role

Zain Iraq is seeking a Corporate Copywriter Specialist who will create clear, compelling, and bilingual content that reflects the company’s brand voice and strategic messaging. The role involves producing high‑quality written material for a wide range of internal and external channels in both Arabic and English.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit press releases, newsletters, corporate reports, website copy, speeches, social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials in Arabic and English.
• Develop copy that aligns with Zain’s brand voice and business objectives.
• Collaborate with communication, marketing, digital, and design teams to deliver integrated content campaigns.
• Translate materials between Arabic and English while preserving meaning, tone, and context.
• Support executive communication needs, including internal messages, talking points, and speeches.
• Research topics to ensure content is factual, relevant, and audience‑focused.
• Maintain and update content across websites and social platforms.
• Proofread and fact‑check all written materials before publication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Arabic Language, English Literature, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience managing complex communication projects from concept to completion.
• Native or near‑native fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities in both languages.
• Strong understanding of corporate and business communication styles.
• Experience working with brand guidelines and tone‑of‑voice documentation.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Experience using digital marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital content writing (a plus).
