About the role

We are seeking a native or near‑native Kurdish speaker to join our remote team as a language expert. You will work on AI‑driven projects, helping to improve Kurdish language understanding through translation, annotation, and linguistic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish content for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide linguistic analysis to enhance AI models’ comprehension of Kurdish usage.
• Annotate and review datasets used for training and evaluating AI language models.
• Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets aligned with project goals.
• Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish content across various applications.
• Share insights on linguistic nuances and cultural context with cross‑functional teams.
• Act as a linguistic consultant for AI‑focused initiatives.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and command of language conventions.
• Fluent in both Kurdish and English, written and spoken.
• Understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural context.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with linguistic data annotation or AI‑related workflows.
