Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager will lead donor‑supported programmes for SEED, a women‑led NGO operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The role ensures that projects meet strategic objectives, comply with donor requirements, and deliver measurable impact for the communities served.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement and evaluate the full programme cycle.
• Ensure compliance with SEED policies, donor agreements and local regulations.
• Develop and monitor detailed work plans, objectives, activities and targets.
• Lead budget planning, monthly forecasting, expenditure tracking and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with the MEAL unit to monitor progress and assess results.
• Prepare accurate donor reports and maintain effective communication with donors, partners and stakeholders.
• Manage programme staff, foster cross‑department collaboration and represent SEED with local and international partners.
• Contribute technical content aligned with programme objectives and support senior management as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme management within NGOs or humanitarian organisations.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance, grant administration and budgeting processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across the Kurdistan Region.
• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
