Production On‑the‑Job Trainer

About the role

The Production On‑the‑Job Trainer will ensure reliable electrical power supply across all production facilities by training staff on plant electrical systems, supporting commissioning activities, and guiding teams during operational upsets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance and fault rectification for plant electrical power systems.
• Guarantee continuous power supply to production assets.
• Execute electrical work following Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
• Support commissioning of power equipment and assist operational teams during upsets.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS/SAP.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of oil & gas electrical/power systems operational experience.
• Internationally recognised technical qualifications and valid emergency response competency.
• Experience with CMMS, SAP, ISSOW and PTW processes.
• Proven commissioning experience in challenging oil & gas site environments.
• Relevant trade competencies for electrical field work and a valid international driving licence.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
