Operations Manager (LOGCAP Program)

About the role

The Operations Manager will support the Site Manager in daily execution of LOGCAP program functions at the Balad site, providing leadership to operational staff and acting as the primary point of contact in the Site Manager’s absence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager and/or Task Order Manager with day‑to‑day site operations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the site when the Site Manager is unavailable.
• Oversee assigned operations staff and ensure CDRL reporting deadlines are met.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and development opportunities for junior personnel.
• Align organizational goals with Vectrus objectives and ensure mission accomplishment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8 years of managerial experience in a multi‑discipline environment, preferably in military installation support or infrastructure management.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Desired certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP.
• Strong knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and customer service principles.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
