National Project Officer – Enterprise Development Fund

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Project Officer to support the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) technical team. Reporting to the Livelihoods Senior Programme Coordinator and the EDF Project Officer, the incumbent will coordinate quality‑assurance processes and act as a focal point for EDF adaptations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring operational, administrative and financial aspects of the EDF project in line with IOM policies, donor requirements and internal procedures.
• Keep the EDF Project Officer informed on implementation status, identify gaps and propose actions to improve quality assurance.
• Participate in developing and adjusting EDF technical tools, work plans, M&E tools and standard operating procedures.
• Collect, verify and analyse data and background information; update information‑management systems and social‑media platforms with project updates, summaries and press releases.
• Support the longlisting and shortlisting processes for EDF applications.

Required profile

• Experience in project coordination, monitoring and quality‑assurance within development or humanitarian programmes.
• Familiarity with IOM policies, donor compliance and livelihood‑focused initiatives.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work collaboratively with multiple units and external partners.
