Human Resources Specialist (Erbil)

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will join EMMAR Group’s dynamic team in Erbil, supporting day‑to‑day HR operations for a company that distributes luxury ceramic brands. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining employee records, assisting recruitment, and fostering a positive workplace aligned with the company’s design‑driven values.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation.
• Support recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
• Coordinate training sessions and assist with performance‑management activities.
• Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
• Handle employee‑relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Prepare HR reports and contribute to continuous improvement of HR procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably in retail, design or construction.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee benefits and personnel management.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HR information systems.
