Field Security Manager

About the role

The Field Security Manager leads the corporate physical security program for a Halliburton facility in Basra, ensuring safe and efficient security operations while supporting the global energy industry.

Key responsibilities

• Direct loss prevention, perimeter control, and security inspection procedures to mitigate hazards.
• Manage electronic and physical security systems, including access control equipment and emergency response plans.
• Coordinate with Real Estate Services, field operations, local law enforcement, and third‑party contractors.
• Lead and develop security personnel, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with policies.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• At least five years of physical security operational management experience, including domestic and international program implementation.

Required skills

• Electronic access control systems design and implementation.
• Physical security operations and incident reporting.
• Emergency response planning and coordination with governmental agencies.
