F-16 Phase Inspection Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced F-16 Phase Inspection Mechanic to join V2X’s global team, supporting IqAF personnel in scheduled inspections and maintenance of fighter aircraft worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Train, advise, assist, and integrate IqAF personnel in executing scheduled phase inspections and related maintenance.
• Perform detailed inspections of airframe, avionics, engine, landing gear, and structural components.
• Identify discrepancies and conduct required maintenance actions during inspection cycles.
• Ensure accurate use of technical orders, maintenance procedures, and inspection checklists.
• Document findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions in maintenance tracking systems.
• Recommend improvements to inspection processes and maintenance turnaround times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Leadership.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in aircraft maintenance preferred.
• USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) certification in Aircraft Maintenance.
• 8–10 years of experience conducting phase inspections on F-16 or similar fighter aircraft.
• U.S. citizenship, eligible for Secret clearance; international experience and deployability worldwide preferred.
