About the role
The District Sales Manager will lead a team of medical representatives across Baghdad and Najaf, driving sales performance and market penetration for a pharmaceutical portfolio. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, executing business plans, and identifying growth opportunities in the assigned region.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Implement marketing plans and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, distributors, and cross‑functional partners.
- Coach, motivate, and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and performance management.
- Recruit top talent and foster a learning environment for long‑term retention.
- Formulate business plans, sales strategies, and action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities to maximize business expansion.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 2 years in people management.
- Iraqi national.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
Required skills
- Salesforce (SF) deployment and KPI management.
