Demand Planning & Inventory Control Officer

About the role

The Demand Planning and Inventory Control Officer will manage forecasting, ordering preparation and inventory control for Multi‑Cell's supply chain operations in Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare forecasting reports by comparing purchase‑sales inventory data with historical trends and stock‑in‑transit documents.
• Gather sales and marketing data to finalize orders and track weekly order changes.
• Monitor local warehouse orders, request additional buffer stock from the Ex‑warehouse, and rotate stock among cash vans, warehouses and sub‑warehouses based on sales trends.
• Manage stock aging across all channels, forecast distribution levels, and approve internal ARs from CTI‑Dubai.
• Develop and execute demand and inventory plans, review historical sales, build statistical forecast models and generate weekly/monthly forecast reports.
• Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings with marketing managers and communicate forecast accuracy and inventory performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in business administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory control or related supply‑chain functions.

• Use of relevant computer applications for data analysis.
