About the role
The Channel Sales Manager will lead the development and maintenance of strategic key accounts in the energy sector, including large energy groups, EPC contractors, and government authorities. You will be responsible for securing long‑term framework agreements and overseeing major renewable‑energy projects such as ground‑mounted power stations and centralized PV bases.
Key responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with strategic accounts, driving the signing of annual framework and price‑locked agreements.
- Develop, maintain, and expand distribution and direct‑sales channel systems, defining policies and exploring new market opportunities.
- Create regional sales plans and coordinate the execution of all sales and business‑development activities.
- Gather and analyse local industry policies, market demand, pricing trends, and competitor actions, feeding insights back to the team.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the new‑energy sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Iraqi market and experience with value‑based marketing, channel development, and channel management.
- Strong execution, problem‑solving, negotiation, and cross‑cultural communication abilities.
