Air Pax Specialist (Lead) – Travel Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Air Pax Specialist (Lead) will supervise the Air Travel Section for a U.S. Government contract in Iraq, providing leadership and ensuring compliance with military travel regulations and official documentation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise processing and control of all air travel movement records and documents.
• Provide technical direction and oversight to subcontract personnel to meet contract requirements.
• Develop, adapt, and implement policies and procedures for effective air travel operations.
• Train and supervise staff on automated systems such as SABRE and GATES.
• Analyze CBA/IBA reconciliation and refund reports to identify discrepancies.
• Maintain cost controls, identify savings initiatives, and produce required reports.
• Ensure compliance with JTF Regulations, Fly America Act, and other travel policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting military orders and travel regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
