Purchaser – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Purchaser to join our team in Baghdad. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services that meet our operational requirements and budgetary constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers in line with company standards.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms to secure optimal value.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of purchased items.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing activities with operational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and capacity to work under pressure.
• Prior experience in the food supply chain or related industries is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
