Measurement Engineer

About the role

The Measurement Engineer will work on‑site at residential and commercial construction projects in Baghdad, providing accurate dimensional data that forms the baseline for Alumex Aluminum’s manufacturing processes. This is a fully field‑based position that requires daily attendance at the company office for biometric check‑in and check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct precise site surveys and record detailed dimensions of structures, openings, and site conditions before production.
• Document measurement results accurately and share them with production, engineering, and quality‑control teams.
• Collaborate with technical drawing, production, and QC teams to ensure seamless transition from field data to fabrication.
• Troubleshoot any discrepancies between site measurements and factory specifications, maintaining safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail in dimensional inspections.
• Hands‑on experience with field measurement tools, survey equipment, and reading technical drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with aluminum systems, façade engineering, architectural glass, or metal fabrication is a plus.
• Effective communication of technical dimensions to design and factory teams.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is beneficial.
• Willingness to perform daily site visits and adhere to official working hours.
