Learning & Development Trainer (Baghdad)

About the role

The Learning & Development Trainer will deliver high‑quality training sessions for Sardar Group of Companies in Baghdad, while supporting the Assistant Training Manager in designing, coordinating and translating training programmes. This role ensures effective communication and culturally relevant content to maximise learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing the training calendar and coordinating with department heads.
• Deliver training sessions in line with approved plans and standards.
• Support programme planning, coordination and execution of special initiatives such as leadership development, compliance and HSE.
• Help design, develop and adapt training materials, ensuring they are clear and culturally appropriate.
• Translate training content and communications between Arabic and English.
• Facilitate interactive activities, group discussions and practical exercises.
• Provide on‑site logistical support during training events.
• Collect feedback, evaluate sessions and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs and reports.
• Assist with general administrative tasks for the Training & Development department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in training delivery, facilitation and learning programme management.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational abilities.
