About the role

The IT Applications – IT&IM Business Manager will lead the delivery and support of critical IT and information management solutions for oil‑field and oil & gas projects in Basra. The role focuses on integrating Chinese technology platforms, securing facilities, and optimizing SAP and other enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT operations for oil‑field and oil & gas projects, ensuring high availability and security of mission‑critical applications.
• Direct integration of Chinese technology platforms (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua) to improve process automation and data exchange across multiple sites.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation of enterprise security systems, including CCTV surveillance and secured entry solutions for high‑risk facilities.
• Oversee SAP deployment, customization, and user training to enhance resource planning and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT/IM applications within the oil & gas sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
