About the role
The Inventory Control Assistant will support the Inventory Controller in maintaining accurate stock levels, reducing shrinkage, and ensuring proper inventory processes across stores. This role involves monitoring stock movements and assisting with cycle counts and audits.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor modified orders, cancellations, returns, and reserved stock.
- Support cycle counts and investigate inventory variances.
- Validate store transfers, receiving, stock adjustments, and expiry management.
- Participate in stock takes and audit preparations.
- Validate expired and damaged items in the system.
- Conduct daily stock counts by category.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, retail, or supply chain.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Good analytical and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
