Furniture Designer – Creative Design Role

About the role

We are seeking a talented Furniture Designer to join our team in Baghdad. In this full-time, on-site position you will create innovative and functional furniture pieces that reflect INHOUSE’s commitment to premium quality and craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop original furniture designs aligned with brand values.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to select suitable materials and finishes.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models using design software.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and ensure design satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate sustainable practices into projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong creative and artistic abilities focused on furniture design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to design excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D modeling tools.
