Utilities Supervisor – Baghdad

About the role

The Utilities Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operation of all utility systems at our Baghdad facility. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures reliable performance of water treatment, wastewater treatment, boilers, air compressors and power UPS units while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation and preventive maintenance of the RO water system and wastewater treatment plant.
• Manage boiler performance, air compressor reliability and UPS power backup systems.
• Lead a team of technicians, schedule work, and monitor compliance with operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory and team‑leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in utilities operations, especially water (RO) and wastewater treatment, boilers, air compressors and UPS systems.
• Hands‑on experience with preventive maintenance of utility equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to utility systems.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
