SMS Data Collector - Arabic (Iraq)

About the role

Productive Playhouse is looking for Arabic-speaking participants in Iraq to take part in a short-term, remote mobile messaging data collection project. Participants submit authentic scam and spam SMS messages received on their personal mobile phones to help improve technology that identifies fraudulent and unwanted communications. The schedule is flexible and the rate is $1.50 USD per qualified message.

Key responsibilities

• Submit authentic SMS messages received directly on your mobile phone, following project guidelines
• Identify each message as either Scam or Spam
• Categorize submissions according to the appropriate message type
• Ensure all submissions are complete, accurate and meet quality standards
• Follow all project instructions; messages from email or other platforms are not eligible

Required profile

• Native or expert-level fluency in Arabic as spoken in Iraq
• Currently located in Iraq
• Own mobile device and an Iraq phone number
• Ability to follow project guidelines and quality standards
