Site IT Manager

About the role

The Site IT Manager will lead and manage all IT activities supporting offices and field operations in the Kurdistan region, ensuring reliable, secure and available technology services across infrastructure, networks, operational technology, field communications, cloud and enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, approve and enforce IT policies, processes and controls covering all IT functions.
• Design, deploy, operate and continuously improve IT infrastructure, networks, OT and field communication systems (radio, PAGA, CCTV, access control, telephony).
• Maintain cybersecurity posture, coordinate incident response and conduct forensic investigations.
• Plan, test and certify disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring high‑availability services and compliance with defined SLAs.
• Manage IT staff, contractors, budgets and vendor relationships.
• Produce technical specifications, RFPs and evaluate/select vendors and contractors.
• Lead IT projects from planning through commissioning, including new application development and system changes.
• Act as the primary liaison with operations, maintenance, HSE, engineering and corporate IT to enable safe and efficient production.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing an IT department or similar function.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and third‑party vendors.
• Solid understanding of industry regulations and corporate IT governance.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
