Senior Programme Associate – Durable Solutions & Reintegration

About the role

The Senior Programme Associate will support the Durable Solutions, Rehabilitation, Reconciliation and Reintegration (DS/RRR) unit in Erbil, providing programmatic, administrative and financial management assistance to ensure effective delivery of migration‑related programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide programmatic, administrative and financial management support to DS/RRR projects.
• Prepare donor reports, narrative updates and funding proposals in line with institutional and donor requirements.
• Maintain knowledge‑management and document‑control systems, including databases, trackers and filing systems.
• Draft briefing materials, information products and ensure accurate record‑keeping and information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in political/social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or related field with at least five years of relevant experience (or high‑school diploma with seven years of experience).
• Experience liaising with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and working with migrants, refugees, IDPs or other vulnerable groups.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle confidential matters.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using SharePoint or other document‑management platforms.
• Strong coordination, information‑management and document‑management abilities.
