Senior House Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and discreet Senior House Manager to lead the daily operations of a private residence for a VVIP family in Baghdad. The role requires a high level of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and absolute confidentiality while ensuring the household runs flawlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all household staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Oversee daily operations such as cleaning standards, inventory control, laundry, wardrobe care and guest preparation.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring cost‑effective and high‑quality delivery.
• Plan and execute private events, dinners and high‑profile guest visits with meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage household budgets, procurement, expense tracking and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Ensure property maintenance, preventive upkeep, renovations and seasonal preparations are completed to the highest standards.
• Anticipate and fulfil family needs, including travel arrangements, personal shopping and special requests.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and work closely with the family’s security team to implement appropriate protocols.
• Handle household emergencies calmly and efficiently.

• Proven experience in senior household or estate management, preferably for high‑net‑worth families.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
