Senior Cost Control Engineer – EPC Projects

About the role

The company is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to join its Iraq team and lead cost control activities across major EPC projects. You will be responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting project budgets, forecasts and performance metrics while ensuring alignment with project planning tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost control across large EPC projects, establishing budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Implement earned value management (EVM) reporting and performance tracking.
• Prepare S‑curves, cash‑flow forecasts and variance analyses.
• Integrate cost data with project planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
• Monitor commitments, actuals and accruals to maintain accurate cost visibility.
• Provide regular cost performance updates and recommendations to project teams.
• Support contract administration, including variations and commercial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and governance standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project cost control within major EPC or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of project controls principles, especially earned value‑based reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to relocate to Iraq.
