Researcher (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

The University of Al‑Qadisiyah is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Researcher to lead and execute scholarly studies within their academic discipline. The role involves designing research projects, collecting and analysing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate research questions and develop appropriate methodologies.
• Collect, process, and analyse quantitative or qualitative data.
• Prepare research proposals and secure ethical approvals.
• Coordinate with laboratories, research centres, and external partners.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with institutional guidelines.
• Write articles, reports, and conference papers for peer‑reviewed journals.
• Present research outcomes at conferences, seminars, and departmental meetings.
• Mentor junior researchers or graduate students and support grant applications.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience designing and conducting research projects, including data collection and analysis.
• Strong academic writing skills in clear, professional English.
• Familiarity with research ethics, funding processes, and higher‑education environments.

• Qualitative analysis tools.
